Lupa and Pizza Cucina have merged to bring you the best of both kitchens’ much-loved favourites.
Our new name is now Pizza Lupa.
Why the name change? Well Pizza Lupa has two high street branches. West Hampstead and Crouch End, whilst Pizza Cucina has been delivering Pizza from a really cool arch under London Bridge since 2002 (winning the Best Pizza in the City of London award from Square Meal in 2008) but it is not really visible. So we decided that Pizza Lupa was the name to go with.
You will notice the menu has several new items and new recipes. We have picked your favourites from Lupa and Pizza Cucina and created an exciting new menu.
Every Pizza is made to order. We do not use conveyor belt ovens or mass production processes. Our Woodstone ovens reach very high temperatures and our Pizzaiolo (Pizza Chefs) turn each Pizza in the oven to ensure it is fully cooked – please pop in and have a look.
Your order will always arrive hot as we use a very sophisticated hot bag system using induction technology - blah...blah...blah... the key thing is the bags keep the Pizza piping hot!
One tip - if you like your Pizza extra crispy just turn your oven on high when you order and put the Pizza in it (removing all packaging) for 3-4 minutes until the cheese bubbles. It will be crispy and mouth burning hot so be careful. The extra zap in the oven removes excess moisture from the Pizza - hence the crispiness.
We are fully aware of the huge competition we face and choice you have. On occasion something will go wrong - in real live working kitchen like ours it will happen.
